Ireland's Operating Bus Museum - Buses - Irish Railways - Peru Railways - Chalks Ocean Airways

August 20, 2004. Here are some photos of two types of schoolbus used in the U.S. After use there they go to other countries such as the Bahamas where these photos were taken. Interestingly the Ford is looked down on as too "soft" so that reputation must travel worldwide. The International is the standard and a pretty good machine. Hopefully someday we will get one in the museum. Following are some photos:

Standard Ford.

Engine is easy to get at.

Some Panel This. An electricians dream or should I say nightmare!

Main Panel.

Door opening mechanism. Rather primitive.

Standard International.
